Magic Arts & Entertainment
Magic Arts & Entertainment has been bringing hundreds of thousands of people to their feet each year throughout their 25 years in the entertainment industry. And from the very beginning, the company has been led by business partners Lee D. Marshall and Joe Marsh.

The duo began by producing David Copperfield’s first –ever tour in 1983. The partnership then grew to produce, manage, book and promote a versatile roster of live entertainment events that expanded to include such high-grossing concerts such as the North American tours for Janet Jackson, Cher, ‘N Sync, Britney Spears, Barry Manilow, The Backstreet Boys and many others.

Marshall, Marsh and their staff have over 150 combined years of experience in the entertainment industry. Current tours include THE MAGIC OF DAVID COPPERFIELD, Michael Flatley’s LORD OF THE DANCE, MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR starring Ted Neeley.

In 2008, Magic Arts & Entertainment was acquired by the Tix Corporation (NASDAQ symbol: TIXC), with Marshall and Marsh assuming the roles of Co-CEO of Tix Productions, a newly-formed subsidiary of Tix Corporation.

Luis Alvarez
Luis Alvarez is the youngest theatrical producer in Spain. In 2007, his 16 year-old Wonderland Group became the most profitable Spanish entertainment company. Over the years, he has produced, directed or presented such theatrical events as Queen’s WE WILL ROCK YOU, ZORRO, SPIDER-MAN, THE STUNT SPECTACULAR, GARFIELD, TWEENIES, FAME THE MUSICAL, PETER PAN, and MAYUMANA. Mr. Alvarez’s World Premier production of 101 DALMATIANS: THE MUSICAL at his theater in Madrid broke all records for sponsorship deals in Spain. Kellogg’s, Kodak, Iberia Airlines, and many other well known companies sponsored its World Premier.

In September 2008, Mr. Alvarez secured a one-of-a-kind deal with The Manhattan Center (Hammerstein and Grand Ballrooms). This agreement will give him the opportunity to produce his shows in NYC and at the same time offer sponsors a terrific place to collaborate and promote their brands. This is the same theater business model he successfully adheres to at his primary location in Spain, The Häagen-Dazs Calderon Theater in Madrid. In early 2009, Mr. Alvarez was the recipient of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce’s Young Entrepreneur Award. In addition to all of his production ventures, Mr. Alvarez is the President of newly formed Theatrical World Wide Association.
